We are closed on public holidays
We are closed during the Christmas and New Year period, and there is no charge for this time.
What age groups do you cater for?
We are approved to provide care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
What is your staff to child ratio?
Children aged 0-2 years 1 educator to 4 children.
Children aged 2-3 years 1 educator to 5 children.
Children aged 3-6 years 1 educator to 10 children.
We also provide an additional educator when required to support the inclusion, supervision, interaction and engagement of all children.
How does the centre communicate with parents?
We use an online app and system called OWNA. This platform provides live updates on your child’s daily activities, including meals, nappy changes, rest times, sleep schedules, photos, learning progress, and accounts. It also serves as a communication tool for families to interact with our center and for us to engage with parents. Once you have enrolled at our centre we will send you a link and how to guide.
What does my child need to bring?
Best that they bring a change of clothes, including additional clothes if your child is toilet training, water bottle, bottle for milk if required, formula and/or breast milk if applicable, comforters such as a dummy or toy for rest time.
What does the Centre provide?
We supply nappies, wipes, sunscreen, hats, breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, bedding if your child has a rest or sleep throughout the day.
How does the centre handle and support children and families with medical needs including allergies, special dietary requirements and or medical diagnosis such as autism, speech delays, etc?
Dietary requirements: We cater to children with dietary requirements including family preferences, cultural preferences, medical requirement where we ensure their meals and snacks are tailored to their needs. Our staff are trained and qualified to handle allergies and special dietary needs sensitively.
Additional needs: At Clementson Drive Early Educational Centre, we support children with additional needs by providing a structured environment, individualised attention and programs, and sensory-friendly spaces to help them thrive. Our team work closely with allied health professionals to support each child’s learning and development.

I am worried that my child is going to be upset or unsettled all day
We understand how hard it is when you child is unsettled or upset, we will provide support and comfort for your child where we will reassure them. Don’t worry we will call you if we can’t calm them and ask for advice.
What if my child becomes hurt or unwell?
Sadly at times accidents might happen or your child might show signs that they are unwell. We will always comfort your child and arrange appropriate first aid, we will also call or provide you with a report to you and let you know as much detail as possible, how your child is and what we have done to support your child.
What about subsidised hours?
We know that each family will have different hours of subsidised care per fortnight and to assist families we have the ability to offer you different hours of care based on your requirements. For further information, please speak to our centre director who is more than happy and willing to assist you.
How do I arrange the start strong funding?
Upon enrolment we review your child’s eligibility and if your child meets the start strong funding eligibility criteria we will provide you with the declaration to claim the funding, once this has been completed and returned we process this into our system and apply the funding to your account.
I want to enrol, what’s next?
Firstly, we invite and encourage you to come in for a tour of our facility. During the tour, we will introduce you to our team and provide detailed information about our services, including fees and programs. If you decide to enroll, you will need to complete the enrollment documents and pay the enrollment fee. Once we receive and process these, we will confirm your start date and arrange a play-and-stay orientation for you and your child.
What is an stay and play orientation?
Our stay and play orientation goes for around 1-2hours, where we encourage you to attend with your child, we get to know you, your child, their routine and preferences. This is also the perfect chance for us to begin building a trusting relationships with both yourself and child.
